Building a new nation: Episcopal Church of Sudan looks to the future

It's a new day in South Sudan and Bishop Enock Tombe has a vision - to build a just and sustainable future for his community in the Diocese of Rejaf.

His story is one that can be replicated throughout South Sudan, where decades of civil war have plagued its people and left its infrastructure in tatters.

On the banks of the River Nile, the bishop is joined by a team of engineers. Their task is to assess whether an isolated community might once again be provided with fresh running water for drinking and irrigation. It's just one example of how the church is committed to rebuilding the country.
