In the Episcopal Church we work hand in hand with our neighbors around the world and down the block. We pray for partner congregations and dioceses, we offer relief to our brothers and sisters in need during times of crisis, and our missionaries around the world serve as our eyes, ears, hands, and feet on the ground.
The last Sunday in Epiphany of each year is designated as World Mission Sunday – a time when we come together as a church to focus on the global impact of our call to “seek and serve Christ in all persons.”
In 2011, World Mission Sunday will be celebrated on Sunday, March 6 and will focus on the ministries of the missionaries of the Episcopal Church.
