To the Episcopal Church of USA To the victims of Hurricane Katrina

Dear brothers and sisters:

May the peace of our Lord be with you.

We wish to convey to you, and especially to all those that have been affected by hurricane Katrina, our solidarity, and that the prayers of the Episcopal Church of Cuba are with you all the time.

It is a tremendous tragedy, and we are deeply concerned about the loss of lives and the suffering of all those persons.

Also, we pray to God that the offer to help made by the Cuban people be accepted, as we feel that we are also part of that help.

We continue praying for the physical and spiritual recovery of all those affected by this tragedy.

Faithfully in Christ,

Miguel Tamayo Zaldívar
Obispo de Cuba
