Lorenzo Martinez was recently appointed vice president for External Affairs at Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD).
In this role, Martinez has responsibility for ERD's fundraising through direct mail and major gifts initiative. He will also supervise all of the communications efforts, church relations activities, volunteer programs and the network of ERD representatives.
Prior to joining ERD, Martinez was vice president of development and external affairs for International Trachoma Initiative (ITI), an organization dedicated to the elimination of blinding trachoma, the world's leading cause of preventable blindness.
