Children
Children play a vital role in the life of the church, bringing contagious honesty and curiosity.  These organizations for teachers, Christian educators, and for children help support this important part of the Body of Christ.  
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, National Association of the
An approach to the religious formation of children. It is rooted in the Bible, the liturgy of the church, and the educational principles of Maria Montessori. Children gather in an "atrium," a room prepared for them, which contains simple yet beautiful materials that they use.
Center for the Theology of Childhood
The Center's mission is to nourish the moral and spiritual development of children, through training, research, and writing about Godly Play. The goal of our approach to spiritual formation is playful orthodoxy. The tradition of orthodoxy is combined with the creativity of play to integrate what are often thought of as opposites to make room for God to become manifest in the community of children and adults
Children at Worship
This organization instructs congregations and clusters of congregations on the precepts and strategies of full inclusion in worship communities.
Children’s Defense Fund (CDF)
This multi-faith organization has strong participation from Episcopalians and publishes an annual multi-faith resource to support the Children’s Sabbath, customarily observed in October each year. CDF is the convener of the Leave No Child Behind movement.
FaithTrust Institute
This multi-faith institute works for the prevention of sexual and domestic violence and has excellent print, video and training resources.
International Anglican Family Network (IAFN)
One of the networks of the worldwide Anglican Communion, IAFN now regularly produces newsletters on issues concerning families. The aim of the newsletters is to set problems affecting families in an international context and to give information about projects and work being done, often through the churches, to help alleviate the situation.
