Partnership in mission is the heart beat of the church and at the heart of relationships in the Anglican Communion and throughout the wider church. The Companion Relationship Program offers domestic dioceses in the United States opportunities to engage in mission activity with dioceses beyond the United States, as part of the process of developing the cross-cultureal nature of the Communion. The Companion Diocese relationships exist to strengthen each participant in ministry and mission. Ideally, the relationship reveals the increased awareness of the single mission to which all are called.
