Refugee Resettlement

Most refugees are fleeing persecution arising from armed conflicts. After long periods in refugee camps, some are granted entrance to the United States.

This is where we come in. Episcopal Migration Ministries is one of 10 agencies working in partnership with the U.S. State Department to resettle refugees. We assist people from around the world regardless of their national origin, race, or religion.

Refugees who reach our shores have endured hardship, suffered trauma and face an uncertain future. But they are resilient. We enlist faith groups and community agencies to join us in extending compassion and welcome to these newcomers. The support we provide ensures refugees a hopeful start in rebuilding their lives.
