For Clergy, Seminarians and Lay Leaders

We help match your skills with ministry opportunities in the parishes, diocesan offices, and church-related organizations. Lay leaders include musicians, administrators and more. Learn how to register with the Office for Transition Ministry, update your profile, get the list of open positions, and download helpful resources.

Register with The Office for Transition Ministry
Registration with the Office for Transition Ministry is available to Episcopal clergy (bishops, priests, and deacons), seminarians, lay Leaders, Anglican clergy abroad, and ELCA pastors.

Update Your Portfolio
More and more, search and calling committees, diocesan transition officers and bishops are requiring up-to-date Profiles from candidates. You should update your profile at least every two years. Keeping your Profile updated enables you to be “open” to a call where your gifts are needed.

Register for the Latino Ministry Database
We are excited to announce that the Office for Latino/Hispanic Ministry and CDO’s Office for Transition Ministry have developed a bilingual Latino Ministries Database as a great way for you to offer your gifts for ministry to the Church!  This directory is also a tool which dioceses and congregations can use to assist in their discernment processes for calling clergy and lay professionals.

Search Process
This is the intentional search by a parish or institution for its clergy leadership, and by the clergy and lay leaders ministering communities. This is effected by personal recommendations of bishops and their designated representatives, as well as by using the Transition Ministry database for electronic searches.

Interim Ministry
This is an intentional period of discernment when a parish or institution assesses where it has been, who it currently is, and where God is calling it to grow.
